We work with many local agents giving you the maximum choice within the area, we also know Scalea very well so we can recommend great places to visit. Scalea is our passion, so with us you know that you will get the most from the area. We love to show off the area to people and know that once people visit the town, they will be hooked. Scalea is very scenic and beautiful; inland you can see high mountains, whereas the other way you can see the bright blue Tyrrhenian sea. There is winter skiing facilities an hour and a half away near Cosenza. There is so much to do down here you will be amazed.
Scalea has one of the best climates in Italy and the Mediterranean. The weather stays hot between April and November, which means that you can holiday here most of the year. In the winter months the weather is very mild indeed.
Scalea is a great place to invest in. It is slowly being discovered as a holiday destination by non-Italians, Italians have been coming here every summer for decades, and up until recently it was undiscovered by everyone else. Prices here are very low indeed, with one bedroom apartments starting from €16500 and two bedroom apartments starting from €30000. Prices are expected to rise as a low cost airline has began flying into Lamezia Terme Airport, also there has been talk of marina. More foreigners are investing in the Calabria area which is also raising prices.
My advice would be to come and see for yourself, the Italian dream is available at a reasonable price...
